## Cứu sống màn hình LG W1643C khỏi đống rác!
Hình ảnh một chiếc màn hình LG W1643C cũ kỹ, tưởng chừng như đã hết cứu, nhưng đằng sau đó là một câu chuyện đầy thú vị về sự kiên trì và kỹ năng của một người thợ kỳ cựu. Bài viết này sẽ đưa bạn đến hành trình hồi sinh chiếc màn hình này, từ việc tháo dỡ, làm sạch, đến thay thế lớp phân cực và lắp ráp lại. Chuẩn bị sẵn sàng cho một câu chuyện đầy bất ngờ!
Hành trình hồi sinh màn hình LG W1643C:
Màn hình LG W1643C trước mắt tôi trông thảm hại vô cùng. Ai nhìn thấy cũng có thể nghĩ ngay đến việc vứt nó vào thùng rác. Nhưng với tôi, đó là một thử thách. Tôi quyết định “cứu sống” nó bằng cách thay thế lớp phân cực bị hỏng.
Công việc bắt đầu lúc 1 giờ 45 phút sáng và kéo dài đến tận 6 giờ sáng! Việc tháo rời hoàn toàn màn hình, làm sạch kỹ lưỡng, sau đó cẩn thận loại bỏ lớp phân cực cũ bằng dung môi và dao nhọn là một quá trình đòi hỏi sự tỉ mỉ và kiên nhẫn. Tôi liên tục làm sạch bề mặt bằng IPA (isopropyl alcohol) và khăn giấy. Mặc dù nghe có vẻ đơn giản khi mô tả bằng lời, nhưng thực tế quá trình này đòi hỏi sự tập trung cao độ và kỹ thuật chuyên môn. Tôi đã từng thành công với một chiếc màn hình cùng loại trước đó, và tôi nhất quyết phải hoàn thành chiếc này trước khi đi ngủ.
Sau khi làm sạch, tôi lắp lại tấm nền, kết nối tín hiệu và cấp nguồn để xác định góc đặt chính xác của lớp phân cực mới. Phương pháp là giữ lớp film ở trên cùng và nghiêng nó sang hai bên cho đến khi thấy độ tương phản màu sắc tốt và rõ ràng nhất. Sau đó, tôi dùng vật nặng để giữ lớp film cố định mà không gây áp lực quá mạnh làm vỡ tấm nền.
Hình ảnh minh họa cho thấy quá trình đánh dấu vị trí trên lớp film. Sau đó, tôi đặt lớp film đã cắt chính xác vào vị trí trên tấm nền, bóc lớp bảo vệ và từ từ ấn xuống từ giữa ra hai bên bằng ngón tay để tránh tạo bọt khí.
Đây là một công việc đòi hỏi sự chính xác và tinh tế. Đôi khi, tôi phải bóc một phần nhỏ và dán lại để loại bỏ hoàn toàn bọt khí. Quá trình dán phải được thực hiện từng phần, dần dần bóc lớp bảo vệ của film.
Sau khi hoàn thành, tôi lắp lại tấm nền vào màn hình, kết nối tín hiệu và cấp nguồn. Kết quả thật tuyệt vời! Màn hình hoạt động hoàn hảo!
Tôi để màn hình chạy một lúc trước khi lắp lại vỏ máy. Nhiệm vụ đã hoàn thành! Tôi lại cảm thấy vô cùng hài lòng khi thêm một thành viên mới vào bộ sưu tập của mình.

Look at the pathetic condition of this Monitor, but see its performance! Would anyone feel like throwing this to the scrap? I took up the job of replacing the polarizer sheet on this for which I dismantled the Monitor completely and did a thorough cleaning. Then using thinner and a sharp blade removed the damaged sheet slowly working my way in and out by repeated scraping and cleaning.
In between I sprayed IPA and used tissue papers to clean the surface. Though it might look very simple when you put in words, the exercise took me time from 1.45AM to 6 AM! After having successfully completed another monitor of similar type, I could not sleep until I finished this one too and that kept me awake and working. Look at the result of this thorough cleaning:
Then connected the panel back, applied signal and powered it up to select the angle of the sheet and marking it for cutting. The method is to keep the film on top and tilting it to the sides until a good and clear contrast of colors is seen.
Then keep something heavy enough to hold it in place but without adding too much weight causing breakage of panel.
The above picture is that of the marking done on the sheet. Then kept the cut sheet in perfect alignment of the panel, and first peeled off the protection sheet and kept one thin portion at one edge of the panel and slowly pressed it down from centre to sideways with my finger so as to have a good fix without bubbles.
This is a very precise and intricate work and sometimes we may have to peel small portions and stick it again to avoid air bubbles. The sticking has to be done progressively by releasing the sheet from its protective sheet. After finishing that, I fixed the panel back to the monitor and applied signal and power to see the following result:
Then allowed it to be on for sufficient time before fixing the covers.
Mission accomplished with vigor and enthusiasm again deriving utmost satisfaction that found entry into the collection bag.
